Is there a risk to changing suppliers?
Answer: No. Your local utility company still delivers the electricity and/or natural gas.
What is the process of switching my supplier?
Answer: Your delivery service will continue exactly as it does today. The only change will be the lower rate you will receive from the retail supplier on your bill.
Do I need to make a long-term commitment?
Answer: No. You will have several options ranging from 1 to 3 years.
Who do I call if there is a problem with the electricity and/or natural gas such as a power outage?
Answer: Please call your local utility company.
Is there any service interruption when I change my electricity or natural gas provider?
Answer: There is no service interruption when you change your energy provider.
Do my bills change?
Answer: Nothing will change about the way you receive and/or pay for your bills.
How long does it take to switch my service?
Answer: The time frame for a customer to switch is 11-45 business days. The switch normally takes place after a normal meter-read cycle.
What is the process of switching my supplier?
Answer: Your delivery service will continue exactly as it does today. The only change will be the lower rate you will receive from the retail supplier on your bill.

Can my new electric supplier shut off my service?
Answer: Only your utility company can terminate electric service to your home or business and termination is strictly regulated by the Public Utility Control.
Is this going to cost me anything (money, time, etc.)?
Answer: No. The service we provide is free to you, the customer.
If my electric supplier goes out of business will I lose service?
Answer: Electric service will not be interrupted if a supplier goes out of business. You would be returned to your utility company without interruption of service. You could then stay with your utility company or switch to another supplier.
